MEDIS is Healthcare Consulting

MEDIS* provides customized, client-driven consulting services and support for healthcare organizations and the dedicated professionals who deliver care to people.

Michael S. Barr, President & Founder of MEDIS, brings 35+ years of experience in healthcare, including executive and clinical roles in the U.S. Air Force, academia, community health, professional and accreditation organizations, and private practice. As an independent consultant, Dr. Barr now brings his knowledge, skills, and insights to help address a wide range of complex healthcare challenges in the United States and internationally.

MEDIS is building a network of like-minded colleagues with unique expertise to create collaborative teams based on the needs of our respective clients.

Working Together

We will start with a complimentary conversation to identify your goals, objectives, and definition of success.

Based on this exchange of ideas, we will co-create a scope of work and action plan.

Meaningful, measurable, and motivating indicators of progress are critical for achieving the specified outcomes.

The plan will include time-based check-ins and milestone markers based on these indicators.

And, the approach is simple:

  • Patience, not pressure.
  • Inspiration, not instigation.
  • Conversation, not confrontation.
  • Explanation, not exclamation.

Let’s get started. See our services here.
