MEDIS LLC

Motivate. Engage. Design. Implement. Succeed.

MEDIS verified as a Veteran-Owned Small Business

MEDIS verified as a Veteran-Owned Small Business

Michael S Barr

I am very proud to announce that MEDIS, LLC achieved designation as a Veteran-Owned Small Business today, December 22, 2021.

The process was detailed, but I received tremendous support from Lisa, the VA Case Manager assigned to my application. She was incredibly informative, responsive, and guided me through each step. Thank you, Lisa!

I also want to thank family, friends, and colleagues who have offered guidance, encouragement, and insights since I started in October. The list is too long to include here. Please know, I am deeply appreciative.

There is one person, however, who I want to thank publicly – my good friend and colleague, Rick Moore (MTC Group Consulting, LLC). Rick and I started our companies around the same time and have compared notes, shared lessons, and motivated each other almost every day. Any of my early successes are, in large measure, due to his friendship and support. Fortunately, I was able to engage Rick as a sub on my first contract!

And now, my responsibility is to share what I’ve learned with others…so anyone interested in perspectives from a solo, independent, veteran-owned healthcare consulting start-up, feel free to send me a note via LinkedIn or the MEDIS Connect page.

Enjoy the holiday season – and best wishes for a happy and healthy 2022.
